I feel sorry that I keep missing the Frisband before he sleeps. I am most constructive at night when it's dark and quiet outside and all is good and peaceful inside, so I tend to work at night. He has been going to sleep alone these few weeks. I tell him "I will join you soon" but when I start doing work, minutes become hours and before I could finish or give up work, he would be asleep. Whenever I hear his faint snore, my heart would sink because I know that I have failed to join him as promised. I wish I could be there beside him and chat with him before he sleeps.

I cant seem to finish my work these few weeks. It's just never-ending. I dont know if I have become slower but I am very sure the amount of work, coupled with my ocd for perfection, is killing me quickly. I feel so drained.

The Frisband bought this for me when we went out for dinner yesterday. She's so plump to the brim now. Lol.

Housecision I

We have finally decided to go for the unit that we are renting right now. The Frisband and I discussed about it after all the house viewing and agreed that there is not a single unit that we really, really like, among all the units that we have visited. There were a few that came quite close to our liking but were never close enough. Those are the units at Quintet and Yew Tee Residences. We like them but we are not willing to spend more than $950K. The unit at Yew Tee Residences would cost more $1M. That would take away all the joy in my saving account for the next god knows how many tenths of years. Not that $800K wouldnt, but you get my point.

Having made our decision, we have been quite focused. We have proceeded to notify our landlord of our intention to buy the unit. Our agent has also tried to contact our landlord and has sent her a report of the market value of the unit. We have also told our agent to look out for available units within The Warren. It always makes me happy to view units here. I think it is because I know this area well. All the units have the same kind of kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, balcony, etc. On the other hand, every unit can be different in terms of shapes and sizes, pretty or ugly in their own way.

I hope we find a nice unit in The Warren soon. The easiest (not necessarily best) one would be having our landlord accept our proposal.

Overly Undecided

We are having such a tough time looking for a house. Over the past one month, we spent a total of three days viewing house units with our agent. On a separate day, we even went to check out an incomplete project on our own to better visualize how the units are like.

The units we have visited in the three days are:

First day (26 May, Saturday)
- 2 at The Quintet condo (asking for $950K and $938K respectively)
- 3 at Regent Grove condo (asking for $920K, $875K and $950K respectively)
- 1 at The Warren condo (asking for $1M)

Second day (9 June, Saturday)
- 3 at Orchid Park condo (asking for $850K, $900K and $840K)
- 1 at Windermere condo (asking for $968K)
- 1 at Bukit Gombak HDB Mansionette (asking for $638K)
- 1 at The Warren condo (asking for $1.05M)

Third day (12 June, Tuesday)
- 1 at Yew Tee residences condo (asking for $1.08M)
- 1 at The Quintet condo (asking for $950k)

I am helpless. I am tired. I am scared. Of million everything.

Everything seems so uncertain now.

It has been 2hrs and I am still fuming mad. Why shld I put myself thru this? If you cannot handle your own weakness, I will not be here to suffer your verbal blows.

I was merely repeating my suggestion and trying to find out what exactly your problem is about. No money then, high COE now, or not embarrassed to be driven ard even by women; You can insist on each, but you cant blame me for not agreeing with you on any.

And regarding my soup, I doubt there will be a next soup from me. It makes me real mad thinking of your question:

'WHY DONT YOU START COOKING (lamely adding) SOMETHING ELSE OTHER THAN SOUP?'

At least I didnt say I WILL start. I started.

On the fourth day of our holiday at the resort, I woke up at 5:30AM and between that and the time I finally got out of bed, I had like ten short story dreams. I kept having one dream after another. In between each dream, I would come awake only to realize that that was yet another dream and then go back to the next dream. It was so useless and I only managed to step out of it when the Frisband woke me up to go for breakfast.

At around 9:00AM, we headed out to Tin Mine for breakfast. It was more crowded than the last two mornings.

We woke up early this morning and the Frisband managed to get out of bed, changed into a casual shirt and a pair of shorts, and left for a morning walk by the beach, all alone. Brave, I say. Though one could easily argue that I was braver because I stayed in the room all alone and read the article "15 Craziest Cannibal Attacks in History".

After the Frisband came back from his not so exciting walk, we went to Tin Mine for our breakfast. Everything there was the same as yesterday but I had different and lesser food. After our breakfast, we went to the pool again for some swimming and wifi time. It was quite relaxing. The weather went from sunny to cloudy, then to rainy, and back to sunny again, within 5mins.

We had our late lunch at Tin Mine. The Frisband ordered wagyu beef burger while I ordered mixed vegetables and rice. I like my simple lunch. I like Tin Mine. Nice and quiet.

Back from lunch, I had a really slow afternoon, like all afternoons, lazing in bed in the dark room. The Frisband spent all his time reading on the balcony. See image for better illustration.

Oh not to forget, tonight we have a reservation made at the resort's high end restaurant, Black Ginger. We are going to enjoy it!
